Without further ado, let’s get started!

Step 1

Press the Windows Key + R, type “Msconfig”, and then press “OK.”

Now that you’re on the General Tab, switch to the Services tab before proceeding to step 3. You can see how to do that in the Before and After that, you’ll find below.

Check the option labeled “Hide all Microsoft Services.” This will prevent you from making a mistake and breaking your system.

Uncheck all of the programs that may cause your computer to slow down. I’ll use Avira as an example in this post. This step’s before and after images may be found below.

Step 5

This step is purely for the purpose of finishing the job and speeding up your system. Simply press apply and then okay, and your computer will now run faster!
