#3 Have a list of goals for each week
Goals, as I’ve stated many times before, are not only a motivating tool, but they also have the capacity to make your life more organised in general.
If you don’t set weekly goals, you’re likely to find yourself going through the same old dull routines week after week, making no progress in any area of your life. If you don’t do something about it right away, this will unfortunately develop a habit that will be difficult to break!
My advise is to sit down on a Sunday evening and make a list of goals you want to accomplish in the next week. This will not only keep you developing week after week, but it will also keep you from becoming completely stagnant.
#2 Start something that takes you outside of your comfort zone
Comfort zones are the biggest enemies of progress and that is something I can’t emphasize enough.
For my part, I’ve decided that starting this week, I’m going to try to engage more with my social media followers in order to improve my online profile. I’ll be experimenting with different methods of engagement, such as sharing videos, asking questions, conducting polls, and posting Instagram reels. These are the kinds of things I would generally avoid because I am fearful of what others would think of me; nevertheless, if I don’t try anything like this that forces me to step outside of my comfort zone, I will make NO PROGRESS.
The point I’m trying to get across to you is that you shouldn’t let your comfort zone keep you from trying new, innovative ideas that will help you improve your productivity. This week, try something new. You’ll soon be thanking yourself for summoning the guts to take that crucial initial step.
#1 Learn something new each week
Knowledge is a powerful possession that no one can ever take away from you.
Many of us believe that we don’t need to learn after high school or college because we believe that learning more than we already know is pointless, right?
This isn’t true.
Every day in life, we should be learning something new. The truth is that information is the only thing that can actually help you increase your productivity and improve your lifestyle. Never stop learning, no matter how insignificant you believe a piece of information is.
My advise is to try to finish a new book about a topic that truly interests you every week. This is not only a healthy habit to have, but it will also indirectly load your mind with amazing facts and ideas that may come in handy when you least expect it!
Making the right decisions and following the right habits are the keys to having a good week.
Nobody wants to go from week to week without changing or improving even one part of their lives, since this will only lead to regret and stagnation.
