In life, we often make the mistake of thinking that money is the only currency we have at our disposal.  I mean, yes, it’s certainly an important type of currency but there are also two more powerful currencies that you can use to further yourself in life.

Let’s take a look at life’s three currencies:

#3 Money

Money, it appears, is what makes the world go round.

Without money, we won’t be able to sell products and services as easily as we do now, we won’t be able to construct a riches empire for ourselves, and our economies will come to a complete halt.

Let’s face it, money is king in today’s culture.

Money plays a crucial role in each of these areas, from illegal underground trade on the black market to constructing respectable multi-million-dollar enterprises, and it is the one thing that can completely change a person’s life in the blink of an eye.

#2 Your time

Yes, you read that right.

One of the most valuable currencies we have is our time.

Consider this: we need time to achieve our goals, finish school, do our duties, better ourselves, and overcome all of life’s challenges.

Despite the fact that time still appears to be an absolute concept, it is one of the things that we all wish to understand. We sometimes feel like there isn’t enough time in the day to get everything done that needs to be done, and other times we feel like it’s moving too slowly.

Time, though, is uncertain.  You can either live 100 years here on earth or die at the age of 12.  Time, essentially, is a scary, but highly valued currency.

#1 Your Knowledge

Knowledge is a powerful tool.

If you think about it, knowledge is the one thing that no one can take away from you in life.

Knowledge is a tremendously potent superpower if you have it. Knowledge can help you overcome practically any difficulty in life, whether it’s poverty or a lack of general contentment.

I am a great believer that the more knowledge you have, the more likely you are to advance mentally, spiritually, and physically throughout your life. Never feel as if you know everything there is to know; attempt to learn something new every day, no matter how insignificant it may seem. Who knows, maybe that tidbit of information will one day save your life.

How are these currencies linked and how are they to be used?

Loot at it this way:

If you need money, you utilize your knowledge and time to improve your abilities and pursue your goals, increasing your employability and earning potential, resulting in the accumulation of money and riches.

If you require knowledge, you spend money to obtain it and devote the necessary time to comprehend it.

There is also a solution if you require more time. If you have enough knowledge, you will have enough money, and having enough money will allow you to spend more time enjoying life’s pleasures.

Conclusion

We have a tendency to be narrow-minded in our thinking, believing that money is the only currency that matters.

Money, on the other hand, becomes irrelevant and unachievable without time and expertise. Similarly, obtaining information and time without money is difficult, but not impossible.

Between these three currencies, a delicate balancing act is required. You’ll be able to enjoy all of life’s pleasures and adventures only then!
