Motivation: the ultimate key to unlock the door of success
Do you ever get up in the morning and feel like you’re just going through the motions everyday, without really getting anywhere? Well, 99% of you will have experienced this dreadful feeling before.
All throughout my early life, I lacked motivation. I had no end goal, no drive, no spirit and no hunger for success within me. The wheel of life was spinning and it felt like I was one of its spokes, going round and round in endless motion. You see, when you’re trapped in this continuous struggle, you have to get out of it as soon as possible, before it consumes and follows you to your grave.
I soon began to realize that I’ve been blessed with the gift of life for a reason: to be successful.
But what is success? Is it money? Is it fame? The truth is, is that it depends from person to person. If you dig deep within your mind and your heart, what do you find? Each of us has a burning passion within is, just waiting to be discovered. Just waiting to be set free.
Some of us just can’t ever be satisfied with the “white-picked fence, two and a half kids and a dog”-type of life. We crave more. We crave to inspire. We crave for success. It doesn’t come cheap though.
If you really want to be successful, you have to sacrifice temporary pleasures for permanent rejoice. It takes a different type of mind to realize this, but I am of the opinion that this mind lurks in each and everyone of us, we just have to be willing to spend enough time searching for it. Start by rising early. An early start to the day gives you time to prepare, plan and meditate in silence before the hustle and bustle of the modern world starts its engine.
ALWAYS define your long-term goals. Remember, without a destination, any ship will get lost. A goal gives you purpose. It gives you that boost you need to tackle each day head on and believe me, the feeling of accomplishing a goal is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before.
In the marathon of goal-chasing, you will have off days. Some days you’ll feel like all of your effort is in vain. It’s completely normal. This is where you have to find the inner badass in you and still finish the race. One day, the ninety-year-old you will be thankful that you didn’t let the noise of society crush your dreams.
Stay hard, stay calm, stay motivated.
